Bottle-Fed
A personal zine by Ann. If she was any cuter, or more charming, she would be a goddamn Disney character. Subtitled the “Look, Dummy, That’s What Happens When You Raise Your Kids Catholic! Issue”, this zine is instead a series of captivating road journals from Ann and her friends, including a bizarre trip to Wisconsin Dells and the adventures of a twenty-something girl in a French drunk tank. The second half of the issue is a piece of serialized fiction which Ann warns “IS NOT BASED ON MY LIFE!!!” Okay, okay! Ann’s one of the reasons I hate reviewing zines, because I keep irrationally falling in love with zinesters all around the country and end up spending hundreds of dollars on little xeroxed booklets.
