The Consumer
“This is a list of the music that I have. You send me some tapes and I fill them up with what you ask for. Pretty simple.” So begins the contents of Matt Spark’s unusual public service zine. The rest of it consists of a 40_page listing of his large alt_rock record collection with a few scribbled random thoughts. Not too exciting, but what it lacks in content it makes up for with a wonderfully crude cut&paste style. And besides, you just know this sort of subversion has got to be driving record companies wild. Worth it for that alone. (DF)
