A blog reviewing mainly cheap horror paperbacks from the ’60s and ’70s–the kind you find in a secondhand store. The kind with titles like Voice from the Grave and Harvest of Terror. The kind with cover art straight out of the Night Gallery. The reviews also branch out into horror movies, TV shows and comic books. The comics in particular are hilarious, many being foreignlanguage rip-offs depicting famous superheroes engaging in badly-drawn sex with each other. As of this review, the site seems to have gone on a full-bore pulp noir bender, casting a fond eye over books featuring lots of squarejawed guys with fedoras and 45s. All well and good, but not very groovy. (Derek Winkler)
