Late Bloomers

By Sasha Foster

Sasha Foster is a Toronto-based illustrator and fine artist, who is inspired by nostalgia and the beauty of the found object as well as the supernatural, memories and the contemporary approach to traditional crafts.
Late Bloomers is a zine that shines light onto the beauty of being an outcast, focusing on the limbo between adolescence and adulthood. It is a playful zine that explores the many sides of puberty including the often overwhelming feeling of isolation and loneliness that can be overcome by the power of a child’s imaginations.
