If Rabbit Studies could be summarized in a word or two I would choose “utterly adorable.” Selena Wong is an OCADU illustration graduate, and Rabbit Studies is a showcase of her talents. Illustrated entirely using water colour and ink, Lala the bunny is the subject of every scene. Even though only pieces of Lala can be discerned —the little white rabbit’s black ears, feet, nose and eyes are the only parts that are visible, while her white body blends into each page — the images still hold merit. For the most part they have a charming abstract look about them, although some pages feel like they’re over taken by the blank space. Wong’s work is definitely worth looking through though.
