A rave aesthetic in collage stalks these small groovy pages though it’s not really a raver zine. Lots of dense, patterned backgrounds and bright stripes of text collage give a sort of sound-bite quality to each page; as with the very short interviews with Minipops, Blair Purda who runs Endearing Records and Seth Cohen of #1Cup. But really it’s cut & paste that keeps you flipping, then going back to the beginning a flipping through again. Or maybe it’s just the many images of fancy cocktails and other drug references that make this quick hit a bit of a rush. (HC)
