Holy crap, there is too fucking much in here. My eyes bled, my heart stopped, my arms went totally numb and my toenails grew six inches. And that is from the first five pages. This zine is huge and may have taken me five full 24-hour days to read (I’m not really sure, but while I read it, my kids decorated me with tuna and I know that in five days tuna gets really bad and this tuna was bad). But still, there really is a lot of good stuff in here! As anyone could guess, the fashion issue is actually an anti-fashion issue. There are a tonne of images, stories, and articles detailing how evil fashion really is. But we knew that. So is P!5’s Pussy worth wading through? Of course it is. But I am a bit tempted to tell you that there is this theory about throwing enough paint at a canvas and eventually making art. This might be the case here. Regardless, standouts of #11 include the comic Jamie Starr, Teen Drag Queen, and the Cunt Clothing Craft Corner. If it hadn’t meant that I’d devoted a good chunk of my life to reading this issue, I think I might have actually enjoyed it. Maybe I will on my reread. Hopefully. (JP)
